Now let me be perfectly clear, the reason I’m posting this song is because it has one of the most gorgeous breakdowns you’ll hear. There is no doubt Shogun is a prodigious talent; one need look no further than Skyfire for evidence of this fact. However, the drop he employs here, while it may be perfectly fine for your run of the mill unoriginal tripe, by way of juxtaposition with the breakdown, here falls unimaginably short. As big of a disappointment as the track’s climax, or anticlimax as it seems, is, we can only hope that a remixer will be able to grab the track’s beauty and expand it without the lowpoints.
